Night Night & Christmas Eve Night...

This little baby has the right idea...

feety pajamas, snuggly bear and a cuddly blanket...

Pretty soon I'll be ready to go "night night"

just like this digi that debuted last week...

This week at Paper Pretties

our challenge for you is to create a "CAS"

(Clean and Simple) card.

Be sure to link back your new creation to

for a chance to win!

Good Luck!!!

I sought out a sketch for motivation and found this one from

Priscilla Styles --Midnight Madness Sketch #81

(there are 2 sketches to choose from, the other one is more simple-hint hint)

I struggled with the super minimum embellishing for the "CAS" theme!

I needed to fru-fru it a weebit!

Here is how I combined the sketch and my digi...

The 5 arched dots in the sketch could not have been more perfectly placed!

The sketch implies flowers, or at least their petals,

peeking out from behind 2 corners of the image,

I wanted to focus on the baby boy and his blanket-

so I opted for strips of coordinating fabric...

Can you believe it...

There are only 10 days left until Mommy and Mr.Bill get married!!

Excitement is in the air, the to-do list is dwindling!

I typed my Mom that once she saw today's

(remember the "I DO to-do list" journal I made her?)

Well, now it has a companion...

My creation was inspired by the wonderful sketch

As always there is an option to use the sketch AND/OR

"PINK or BLUE??? "

OR is "1 or 2" a better question!?
That was my experience!
We had the nursery completely finished for 1 baby...
and then we discovered "the stowaway"!
With 1 we were going to be "surprised"-(HA-they surprised us!)
After 2 weeks of 'not knowing' we decided toooooo much yellow and green would not be a good thing! Funny, how out of the 3 combinations the girl/girl really never occurred to us; although we had 2 girl names. And so it was Sienna and Sierra; PURPLE & Pink. (to this day Sierra remains THE Pink child!
Round two; "pink or blue" didn't hold a candle to "1 or 2"...the answer was 1 and blue (well his eyes are blue- but he fancies YELLOW!
Family complete!

However, yours might not be, with babies being born daily...
allow me to introduce today's highly functional
PAPER PRETTIES Monday Whatnots...
(What's not to LOVE!?)

I created a card inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Sketch 93...

ta da...

Mr. Stork will be flying them into these challenges also:
Anyone for AnyaVintage White
Paper Sundaestopping bar: PUNCHES & RIBBON
Digis With AttitudeRecipe #6 Sparkle, Ribbon, 2 p.p.
*my choice of p.p. is minimal, yet there! using a standard hole punch I punched out circles from Basic Grey Periphery: champagne, and blanco and placed them under the pearls on the fabric pouch...

Using the double punch method, I made a plethora of heart outlines...

To most it may just look like a mat, to me it is a reminder of how delicate a heart can be, mine that was in "perfect cardio" health failed after the girlies were born; due to the pregnancy: Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. I almost took flight as an angel leaving Sean alone with our two beautiful girls. So many prayers were answered. It was a slow process but my heart went from an ejection/fraction of 22 (not really pumping) to good as new in a few years...because I had THE best medicine...the love of a child twice over!

assembled them together in an overlapping formation to create a most lovely mat...(pictured right-side down; very sparkly on top)

'vintage' pearl buttons...

The remainder of the punchfest was a pile of hearts turned cushy cloud...

Chances are if a stork lands he might leave a feather...
ribbon flower...

Fly on over to PAPER PRETTIES to get your ARTish digis!

And be sure you stop and tell your babies; pink, blue, 1 or 2...just how much you LOVE them.

So blessed ,
