Scrap Creations Ring in New Year

*************************************************
The current challenge at Paper Pretties is to be inspired by "Ring"

~endless possibilities, it does not have to be New Year related,

however that is the path I took...

Link back your NEW creations to
Paper Pretties
for a chance to win!

The above sparkly tidbit in the corner embellishment

was formerly a longer arm of the gargantuan snowflake below;

now further embellished with 2 clear asterisks,

a snowflake brad and beautiful blue gemstones.

When was the last time you just acted silly!?

Has it been that long?
Perhaps that could be a New Year's Resolution...

Have more FUN!

A Celebration of love...

The theme at The Pixie Cottage

I applied my Ornament Tutorial
to create a very special keepsake
honoring the celebration of "Love"
at my mom's wedding, less than a month ago, to Mr.Bill
it was followed by a party full of dancing!

To hang on their first Merry Tree together...

Caffeine & Sprinkles...

Is there a better way to start your morning?
These mice think not!

Today's Monday Whatnots...What's not to Love

My images are...
Sprinkles digi by ARTish...

To showcase Caffeine I created a gift card holder...

I wonder what's inside...

yumminess...

Have you ever been asked, or asked....???

"Espresso" is always the safe answer!!!

On to sugary sweet Sprinkles...
and the quote that might keep you away from temptation...

Yes, it's on the frig!

Invite them over to your computer!

Personally, I'll pass on the donuts.

(although if you're in Owasso I know just where to send you

should you NEED some...

Miss Sally's Paradise Donuts!!

these are a sampling of her offerings)

I say, "bring on the coffee!"

So much so that I have made it the theme of my kitchen creations

and the reasoning behind the white icing and blue sprinkles

...the magnet had to match the decor!

This is the wall behind our kitchen table...

This is "Joe"...

Talk about a long pour...

Oh to have a functioning fountain like this sculpture!

How many cups do you need to get through your day?

One???

Or a LATTE!?

I'm ready to head downstairs and make my second Iced espresso of the day.

Shall I count?

I hope you have a SWEET day!

Show 'n Tell, Sleeping bags, & S'mores...

Bon Jour!
Today's posting is three part, as the title implies.
First up "Show 'n Tell"...
It has occurred to me that many of you may
envision me strictly with a marker in hand illustrating or coloring.
Before there were ARTishtic stamps my time was focused on

Original ARTish paper piecings;
made with the Unscripted Movement of my SCISSORS;
no patterns are used or made!

I simply sit down with my scissors and paper and cut what my mind sees
creating these unique and adorable fairies...
currently listed on eBay
*ARTish is in all of my titles,
with CSPT my awesome eBay group- Candy Sweet Paper Treats.

ARTish Fairy –PINK Cupcake

ARTish Fairy - HOLLY

ARTish Fairy -Snowflake
Thank you for browsing- the links have "full commercials" with detailed photos.
All three of these auctions end Thursday 12/16.
Contact me with suggestions for fairies anytime.

Next up...the Sleeping bag portion!
When was the last time you had a slumber party!?
Inevitably someone just can't get to sleep for one reason or another.
To sum that up in a digi stamp..

happily colored...

This week at The Pixie Cottage

our challenge choices are to use the THEME: Friends or Family

And/Or this SKETCH...

I combined them both to create this card...

These girlies are going to chat it up in these challenges…

Good Luck!!
For the implied cluster of corner embellishing flowers
I opted to use design prints straight from the sleeping bags- just a little bit enlarged!

The perfect 'vellum quote'...

the interior...

and the p.s....

**********************************
And last but not least the "S'more" portion...

I ventured out into new card making territory to create a scene.

Last week I featured the two new Scout stamps from
Paper Pretties.
I had them in mind when I illustrated this week's Monday Whatnots

(three digital images to coordinate with them)

Combining them with the current Paper Pretties
challenge theme: creations for the boys and men in your life
Link your NEW creations to
for a chance to win!
Good Luck!!
This is what I created...using 4 images, with one doubled...

They’re scampering off to share S’mores in these challenges…

Tent digi by ARTish

Ranger Raccoon Digi by ARTish

Campfire Digi by ARTish

Which ranger's taste in S'mores do you prefer?
Lightly toasted or Well done??

The campers look pretty experienced~ they probably have this memorized;
however, every good Scout knows the importance of being prepared!

Do you like those games where you are presented 2 pictures
and you have to find the differences?
Did any of you catch that Scout Cooper’s arm is not in the salute position?
I'm sure his taste buds are saluting the fine roasting,
but he needed to be holding the
most famous culinary concoction ala campfire!
So, I operated...

Successful!

Bon Appetite!

I hope your week is full of creative sweetness!
got fairies?
